Auguste Babette Douglas

Auguste Douglas passed away on March 9, 2011. Known as Anita to some of her family, she was born in Austria into a circus family. She performed as an acrobat with her brother. As a member of a traveling family she would drop into schools to get her education and try to pick up where she left off. After coming to America she worked in retail at a department store as a clerk. In her later years she worked as a hair stylist. She was a loving wife to her husband Wallace who preceded her in 2004. She is survived by her sister in law Virginia Douglas, nephew Dennis Johnson and niece Carol Dezellem all of California. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014. Graveside Service will be Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1:15 at Fort Logan National Cemtery, Pavilion ""C"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevar, Denver, Colorado 80235.
