Bambina C. LaGuardia

Bambina C. (Morrelli) La Guardia, age 99, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 18, 2023. Born in Berwind, Colorado and raised in Lafayette, Colorado, She was known as Babe to her many friends and relatives. After graduating high school, she went to work at Schwayder Brothers (later Samsonite Corp) making machine gun belts as part of the war effort. There she met the love of her life Leonard La Guardia. They were married on April 15, 1945. An avid sports person, Babe was a huge Denver Bronco fan as well as a Denver Bear and later, a Colorado Rockies booster. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing trips with her family. Another favorite adventure included trips with numerous friends and family members to Las Vegas and later visited the Colorado casinos. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leonard; brothers Louis and Joseph. She is survived by her four children Lawrence, Connie, Donna and Donald; 18 grand children; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren in addition to numerous addition relatives and friends.
