Barbara B. Anderson

Barbara B. Anderson, 1952-2012, 59, of Lakewood passed away on March 23rd peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Detroit, MI, daughter of Ervin & Alma Binge, Barbara is survived by her husband of 18 years Robert (Andy) Anderson, sister Dory, brother Neil, mother-in-law Barbara Anderson, 10 nieces and nephews – Nick (Sara), Rachael (David), Brett, Bonnie, Ivan, Trevor, Sydney, Avery, 8 brothers and sister in-laws- Rosie, Pat, Brad, Tony, Blaine, Donna, Ed, Rene, and a quite extensive group of close friends. Barb came to Colorado in 1977 where she held several jobs until becoming the office manager of Anderson & Assoc. Landscape and Irrigation for 18 years. Barb was active in the Junior League of Denver where she had worked on two of their cook books and was an active member in their garden club. She loved to garden, travel, entertain friends and family and especially loved time at home with husband Andy and their 2 beloved Labrador Retrievers, Barney and Otis. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227.
