Barbara Ann Candelarie passed away on July 20, 2010 at the age of 69. Barbara was married on October 24, 1959 to the love of her life for over 50 years, Jose A. ""Tony"" Candelarie. Barbara was a Domestic Goddess and Loving Wife, Mama, and Omah. Barbara was a wonderful and loving mother to three children although she always considered their spouses as her own children too: Diane and (Mark) Williams, Tony and (Rhonda) Candelarie, Kim and (Derrick) Walker. She was affectionately known as Omah by her grandchildren Tara Walker and (Tony Calabria), Kyle Williams, Brandon Candelarie, Baylee Candelarie, and Braydon Candelarie. She was the loving sister of Connie and (Frank) Valverde, Iva and (Eddie) Gomez, was preceded in death by Baby Johnny Cordova, and was the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving parents Joe Fermin and Lucille Cordova. In life, Barbara enjoyed spending time with the family, trips to Vegas, playing Bingo, playing her computer games, watching T.V. game shows, and loved watching ""Dancing with the Stars."" She loved listening to music, sitting in the morning sun watching the wild birds in their bird feeder and bath. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers. Barbara enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, cooking, embroidery, fishing, camping, ceramics, puzzles, and collecting angels, teapots, and roosters. Visitation to be held on Monday, July 26, 2010, 1:00PM at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado.
