Barbara Anne Clark
January 9, 1939 – August 27, 2021
Barbara passed away peacefully at her home in Imperial, Nebraska on Friday evening, August 27, 2021. She was 82 years old. Barbara was born in Denver, Colorado and lived in Colorado until fall of 2018. She moved to Nebraska to be close to some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bobbie, or Grandma, as she was known to many, suffered from Alzheimer’s in her later years. The peaceful life of a little town with her great-grandchildren or as she called them, her Babies, was good for her and something she cherished until her passing.
She is survived by her children: her son David Golla (Judy) of Paso Robles, CA, her daughter Deanna Jackson (Douglas) of Denver, CO, and her son Dwayne Clark (Tammy) of Arvada, CO. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James R. Clark, her son James E. Clark and her parents and sister (Glenna Chapman). She is survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing for Barbara will be Monday, September 20, 2021 at Horan & McConaty, 3031 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood Colorado from 4:00-7:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Tuesday September 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM with burial service following at Fort Logan Cemetery with her deceased husband Jim.
The family invites everyone to join them for a reception following the funeral service on Tuesday at Los Three Garcias located at 5175 W. 68th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80030.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
