Barbara Katherine Kelly

Barbara, 93, of Denver Colorado passed away on June 25, 2012. Bobbie as she was known to all, was born in Denver, Colorado on April 11, 1919 to Marion and Elmer Sparn. She attended Holy Family High School and graduated from Loretta Heights College. She married Ed Kelly on September 1, 1941. They had 3 children, Barbara, Betty and Dick; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Bobbie was a tireless volunteer at the children's schools, the hospital gift shop and Ronald McDonald House. She enjoyed playing golf into her mid-eighties, making stained glass, visiting the zoo, traveling and spoiling her grandkids. Celebration and Remembrance will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller Street (at 20th & Miller), Lakewood. Interment at Mount Olivet cemetery followed by a reception at the home of Barbara Jenkins.
