Barbara Holzman Kincaid, 96, entered the presence of Jesus her Savior at 12:10 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2017, surrounded by her children and 11 other close relatives. She was born on a farm near Smithland, Iowa, on April 8, 1920. She met her husband, Harold Kincaid, at Wayne State Teacher's College. They were married during World War II on December 22, 1944, in San Francisco, California, where Harold was stationed in the Navy. After the war, they lived first in Gregory, South Dakota, then in Grand Island, Nebraska, and finally Denver, Colorado, where both Harold and Barbara worked at radio station KLIR. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years on December 28, 1996, and her grandson Joel Prichard on December 29, 2000. She is survived by daughter Pamela Prichard (Ben), son Steven Kincaid (Mary), twin daughters Teresa Renstrom (Chuck) and Tamara Cummings (Robert), 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, ranging in age from 4 to 27 years old. Six of her great-grandchildren live in Germany, five in Colorado, five in Washington, and four in Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's name to Samaritan's Purse or the charity of your choice.
