Barbara Jean Maes

Barbara Jean Maes, age 68, of Denver, Colorado. Preceded in death by mother Josephine Childs, father Lash Garbiso, and sisters Hope, Eva and Goldie. Survived by spouse Lucas (Junior) Maes, whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Children Vikki (Bob), Lucas (Paula), Ron (Laurie), Chris (Pam) and Karen (Paul). Grandchildren Jeff, Mikey, Ronni-Lee, Briana, Marrisa, Zachary, Stephanie, Steven, Brian, and Sug. Great grandson Dominic. Stepmom Barb, sisters Jennifer, Angie and brother Gene. Member of Faith Bible Chapel. Barbara's greatest joys in life was her family and friends, cooking, baking, shopping and reading scripture. She will be remembered for her giving spirit, putting others needs above her own and unconditional love towards everyone who knew her. Memorial Service will be Friday, January 30, 2015, 3 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. For all the lives she touched she will be dearly missed.
