Over the past couple years she frequently traveled to the Seattle area to help her mother relocate and prepare the family home of nearly 50 years for sale. Barbara will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She will be remembered as someone who was selfless, always thinking of others first and her beautiful, always present smile. Barbara's ability to defy the odds for so long can be attributed to her personal strength, her strong faith and a dedicated team of doctors, health workers and friends who did their best to help her battle this disease.
