Barbara J. Thompson

Barbara J. Thompson, 82 years of age, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on February 3, 2011. Barbara was born on June 17, 1928 in Crawsfordsville, Indiana to the late Charles W. and Leona Young. She is also preceded in death by her husband William F. Thompson and her daughter Pamela S. Runge. Barbara is survived by her son Jeffrey W. Thompson and his wife Kristine; and her grandchildren Tyler Thompson, Cassandra Runge, and Alexandra Runge. Barb will be missed by her family and friends. She was a sweet Southern lady who loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was a wonderful cook, a true 'collector' and easy with a smile. We love her and know she is now at peace and resting well. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held at ten o'clock in the morning, on Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Rd), Aurora, Colorado, 80014. Barbara will be laid to rest with her husband William at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
