Barbara W. Willand

64, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away at her home on October 27, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Tim; Children, Dana and Malea; Grandchildren, Austin, Kymbra, Dennon, and Alandra; her mother, Wilma Welch; and her brother, Nolan (Phyllis) Welch. A funeral service will be held in Barb's memory at 1pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 South Parker Road, Aurora. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Barbara Willand was a very kind and caring woman, always looking out for others, before thinking of herself. She enjoyed sewing, hiking, and photography in her free time. Barbara also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Cotton, who never would leave her side. Barb was also passionate about traveling and sightseeing with her husband, Tim- leading the couple on countless adventures across the country. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
