Passed away March 8, 2010, at the age of 52. Preceded in death by his brother Tim. Survived by his parents Jenelle and Mel Brock of Amarillo, TX, sister Suzanne (Larry) Hampton, closest family friend David (Rebecca) Nickel and their daughters Austin and Emma Jo, nephews Matthew, Andrew (Kelli), Jonathan and Collin, niece Megan (Hank) Henderson, great-nephew Brock, and many friends who loved him dearly. Barry worked as a manager at the 17th Avenue Grill and was the designer at Evergreen Specialities. He was a member of DINR (Denver Independent Network of Restaurants) and Greener DINR. He also served as a volunteer and coordinator for the Chanda Plan Foundation and ""People to Know"" events, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and Project Angel Heart. In lieu of flowers, there is a memorial currently being set up for students who are working in the restaurant industry. Memorial service to be held Monday, March 22, 5:45PM at St. John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington Street, Denver.
