Barry Stevan Thornburg

Barry Thornburg, PhD., passed away on February 15, 2018 in Lone Tree, Colorado. Barry was born on December 9, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana, the son of Bob Gregory Staley and Mary Joan Martin. Barry is survived by his life partner, Venetia, his brother Roger and his three children, Vicki, Ashley and Dane. Barry lived in Parker, Colorado with his beloved life partner, Venetia, and ran his own Liability Investigations business. He loved sports, especially football and golf, and had been a member of the Meadow Hills Men's Club for over 10 years. Barry loved History and Philosophy and treasured long discussions with family and friends about the important things in life. He held family and friends close in his heart. Barry loved a good laugh... he was especially fond of whimsy. Barry lived life on his terms, always remembering to stop to smell the roses along the way. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring at a place and time later to be set. Notifications will be sent out once the plans are made.
