B.C. ""Ben"" Slack

B.C. ""Ben"" Slack was born February 14, 1928 in Cotton Valley, Louisiana to Ben C. Slack, Sr. and Lena (Walton) Slack, and passed away March 23, 2016 at his home in Denver at age 88. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Pachello) Slack. He is survived by his children David Slack and wife Lenora and Debbie Thom (the late John Thom), sisters Marcelle Jones and Ruby Joyce Beene, grandchildren Amy, Jeff and Karen, and his great grandchildren, Marlee, Haley and Deva. Visitation will be held Monday, 6PM - 8PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 1PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo Street. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 3549 Navajo Street, Denver, 80211
