Benjamin Bisset

BENJAMIN BISSET 96, passed away peacefully at Bear Creek Nursing Center on June 12, 2006, surrounded by his loved ones. Ben was born March 6, 1910 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1937 he became the loving husband to Helen Schleik, to whom he has been married for nearly 69 years. For 45 years he was a printer by trade and at the age of 63, retired and moved to Lakewood, Colorado. In his retirement, he a great deal of volunteer work for the Volunteers of America, and the Democratic Party. Ben is survived by his wife, Helen; son Allan (Linda); grandchildren Kathy (James) White, Carolyn Paetzold, Christopher Dauberman, Andrew and Conner Bisset; great-grandchildren Jessica White, Ryan White, Cody McCormick, Justin Paetzold. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Carole Dauberman.
