Benjamin Lee Simmons was born October 25th, 1991 at Bitburg, Air Base Germany to Marcia Ann and Captain David Simmons, USAF.
A wonderful and energetic child and young man, Benjamin Lee was the star of the family. Growing up in the Westminster and Broomfield area, Colorado, Benjamin Lee was active as a Christian at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, in Boy Scouts for much of his youth, attaining his Life Badge, along with playing soccer, playing the piano and saxophone. Benjamin Lee attended Northglenn High School, Northglenn Colorado, graduating in 2010.
As an adult, Benjamin Lee attended various colleges studying a wide and eclectic variety of subjects, such as religion, philosophy, accounting, and engineering though settling down to work as a machinist at Wheels Manufacturing, Broomfield for his adult career.
Benjamin Lee was pre-deceased by his lovely mother Marcia Ann Simmons in 2006, his grandfathers Martin Schultz and Randolph Simmons, and his grandmother Anne Schultz.
Prior to his passing in December 2020, Benjamin Lee moved to Colorado Springs, enrolled in college to pursue his accounting degree, and purchased his first home.
Benjamin Lee was an outstanding human being, gracious and giving young man with a big heart and smile helping all folks that he could. Benjamin Lee is and will be missed by all that knew him. God Bless Benjamin Lee Simmons.”
A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Ave., Arvada, CO 80003.
