Bernard B. Witt, 85, of Denver passed away March 12, Survived by his wife Lanette and Sons: Gary and Karl (Sheryl). Bernard entered the United States Army on September 23, 1942 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Her served during World War II in the Italian and Aleutian Campaign's receiving the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, Good conduct Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon, Parachute Wings and on February 20, 1945 the Purple Heart for wounds received to his left arm and leg. He was honorably discharged on May 8, 1945 with the rank of Sergeant. Memorials are suggested to Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 E.
