Bernice Fisher

Bernice Blackard Fisher, 84 years old, of Denver, CO passed away peacefully with her son and two other family members by her side on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Bethany Healthplex in Lakewood, CO. She was born in Pittsburg, Johnson County, Arkansas and moved to Denver, CO in 1935. Bernice enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with friends and family. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Malcom L. Fisher; her parents Fred and Ethel Blackard; her two brothers and sister, Thurman and Herbert Blackard (CO) and Della Mae Blackard Clark (DE). She is survived by her loving son, Danny Fisher of Denver, CO and her sister LaQuita J. Hines of California. Viewing service will held on Monday, January 23rd at 12:00 to 1:00PM at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO.80227. Interment will be held at Ft Logan National Cemetery, Ft Logan CO., at 1:30PM on the 23rd of January with Rev Aram Haroutunian officiating.
