Bernice R. Martinez, age 75, Westminster, CO passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was the wife of the late Seferino Martinez, Jr. Born March 2, 1941 in Durango, CO, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Ruby (Martinez) Medina. She is survived by 6 children, Cynthia Ledingham, Donna Martinez, Joe Martinez, Lisa Vassos, Anthony Martinez, Tess Gurule; 10 grandchildren, Timothy, Jennifer, Danelle, Christopher, Kayla, Thomas, Isabella, Marissa, Jesseca, Seferino; 4 great grandchildren, Juliana, Julian, Nathan, Alessandra; and 5 siblings. A Rosary will begin at 6:00pm on Wednesday, July 27th, at Horan & McConaty Chapel, 9998 Grant St, Thornton. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, July 28th, at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2361 E 78th Ave, Denver. A burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
