Betty Armstrong

Betty Armstrong, 86, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by her children on December 21, 2018. Betty was born to Hannah and Willie Carter in Milwaukee in 1932. Betty had several siblings, William Carter, Emma Burrus, Anthony Carter, Katie Carroll, and Christie Beards. Betty is survived by her children: Barbara Ingram of Douglas, Georgia; Emma Armstrong of Aurora, Colorado; Paula Sanders of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Kathy Toney of Aurora, Colorado. Betty is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

In life, Betty worked as a child care provider after earning her diploma at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Betty also enjoyed various activities including reading about history and religion, researching ancestry, watching soaps, travelling and especially loving on her grandchildren.

Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Clinton Rose Senior Center, 3045 N. Dr. MLK Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53212
