Betty L. Bennett

Betty Lou Bennett, 66, of Aurora, passed away on August 15, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 17, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Irving and Maxine (Hanna) Goldstein. Betty married Charlie Bennett on April 3, 1970 and together they shared 47 wonderful year of marriage. Betty worked as a nurse for 25 years. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She loved taking long walk and hikes in the mountains with Charlie. She enjoyed their travels and cruises that took them too many incredible places around the world. She loved being with her friends and family and drinking her favorite tea out on the back deck. Betty was an avid reader. In addition to her husband, Charlie, she is survived by her children: Terri Ann Parke, and Christopher Bennett and his wife, Kacey, her grandchildren: Hallie May Parke, and Ireland Marie Bennett; her siblings: Russ (Phyllis) Goldstein, Denny (Marsha) Kendrick, Mike (Carolyn) Kendrick, and Sue Crownover; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Vicki Patton. A Celebration of Life to honor Betty will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:30AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014.
