Betty J. Blatchley

Betty, 84 years, called to glory November 12, 2009. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children Charles C. (Sherry) Blatchley, David W. (Kathy) Blatchley and Deborah A. (Bob) Bewersdorf; grandchildren Michelle (Ryan) Willis, Michael Blatchley, Matthew (Renee) Blatchley, Krista Blatchley, Travis Blatchley, Jennifer (Philippe) LeJean, and Katherine Bewersdorf; and great grandchildren Brittany Atherton, Nicholas Willis, Dayahna Blatchley, Jonathan Blatchley, Eli Blatchley, Layla Mairs and Sebastien LeJean. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Blatchley, Jr. Betty's love for music and talent with her violin led her to serve the U.S. troops with the U.S.O. This is how she met her husband, Cliff, and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together. Betty, along with her husband, was also an active member of OES Vesta #242 and Althea #206, Naperville, serving as Worthy Matron. A Memorial Service celebrating Betty's life will be Sunday, November 29, 2009, 2:00 pm at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 1991 S. Oneida St., Denver.
