Betty J. Downs

Betty J. Downs, age 87, of Centennial, passed away on January 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Karl. Betty is survived by her children, Karla J. Ferguson (Danny) and Leslie G. Downs; grandchildren, Jason Brown (Crystal) and Allison Brown; and great-grandchild, Jillian Brown. Mrs. Downs worked for many years in school food service for Caddo Parish. She and her husband were residents of the Shreveport area for over 50 years and were members of Barksdale Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Assisted Living for their loving care during her time there. Also we would like to thank those from Denver Hospice who attended to her, Laura Van Alstyne of Physicians House Calls, and Dr. Radhika Acharya-Leon, and Lisa Gundersen, PA-C and staff of UC Health Littleton for their excellent medical care.
