Betty Louise Foos, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on April 24, 2020. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Jean Pearson (Foos); grandchildren, Ashley (Alex) Kosley, Amanda Pearson, and Alexandra Pearson; great grandchildren, Madison and Cayden; sisters, Marjorie Riggs, and Lillian Kaestner; Aunt of; Gretchen (Eric) Smith, Tom (Tammy) Riggs, Karia Lee Basta (Tom), Michelle (Chris) Halbach, and Steven Kaestner; Great Aunt of, Emerald Smith, Amy Halbach and Molly Halbach; Great Aunt and Godmother of, Alex Smith. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline Aschenbrenner; sister, Mary Jo Basta; husband, Donald Lee Foos; Brother-in-Law, Robert Riggs.
She graduated in 1951 at Delta High School. Betty became a Executive Secretary for Ideal Basic Industries for 30 years and then 12 years for Ball Corporation.
Betty was a warm, caring, and loving person. She was a devoted Catholic. She loved to read and when she could it was nothing for her to read 100 books if not more a year. Betty enjoyed playing cards, watching western movies, and listening to country music. She loved reading the newspaper and doing the crossword puzzles. Betty not only had a BIG sweet tooth but she was a incredible baker. She enjoyed visiting and being with her family and friends. When you where in Bettyâs life you knew you could always count on her being there for you through the good, bad, happy and sad times.
