Betty E. Herhold

Betty Elaine Herhold, 82, went to be with the Lord May 15, 2010 at St. Andrews Village in Aurora. Born in North Girard, PA. on May 21, 1927 to Carl and Ellentine (Johnson)Fredrickson. She married Kenneth J. Herhold on August 26, 1951 in Lake City, PA. ""Freddie"", as she was lovingly known by family and friends wass most proud of her family. Raising her four children with her husband Ken was her biggest joy in life. Freddie enjoyed traveling, attending sporting events and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her famous peanut butter and sugar cookies. Betty is survived by her children; David C. and Lisa Herhold of Parker, CO., Mark K. Herhold of Littleton, CO., Kathy J. and Scott Gunter of Aurora, CO., and Beth E. and Bob Hannon of Atlanta, GA. Eight grandchildren; Charlotte Herhold, Alex Herhold, Kelsey Herhold, Joshua Gunter, Aaron Gunter, Lauren Gunter, Taylor Hannon and Kaile Hannon. She was preceeded by her husband Ken and her parents.
