Betty L. Olsen

Elizabeth L. "" Betty"" Olsen, age 85, passed away October 24, 2009. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Henry "" Hank"" Olsen and her sister Agnes Horan. She is survived by her son Theodore Olsen (Sharon), sisters Virginia Horan and Dorothy Niedenthal, nephew Kurt Niedenthal and niece Anne Niedenthal. Memorial Mass, Thursday, October 29, 2009, 11:00 a.m., Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2250 S. Harrison St., Denver. Betty, a Colorado native, graduated from Westminster H.S. and Parks Business College. She proudly worked for Mountain Bell for almost 10 years, and was an active Pioneer. She was active in her communities. Her love and devotion to others was demonstrated throughout her life, as proud wife, homemaker, and caregiver to Hank; as mother, mentor, and role model to Ted; and in her interactions with her family, dear friends, and neighbors.
