Betty B. Porter

Betty was one of seven children born to John & Allie Troutman of Story, Wyoming. She attended Sheridan Wyoming High School and Rocky Mountain College, in Billings, Montana, where she met her beloved husband while she was skipping rocks at college. Betty celebrated her 90th birthday in October and had she survived, would have celebrated 68 years of marriage in December. To mourn her loss are her husband, John H. Porter, of Arvada; son, John F. Porter, of Arvada; daughter, Jacqueline J. Porter, of Lakewood; and four grandchildren. Her two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. A Viewing will be held Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. A Funeral Service honoring Betty will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 10:30 AM also at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003.
