Betty Lou Thompson, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on December 9, 2012 at her home in Castle Pines, CO. Betty was born on December 11, 1938 in Yuba City, CA. Betty met John Thompson in 1958 in San Francisco, CA, and they married in 1959. John and Betty or ""Coach and Mrs. T"" moved to Seattle that year. They spent 29 years in the great northwest making friends and raising children. In 1988 they moved to Littleton, CO and finally to a house they built in Castle Pines in 1996. Betty is preceded in death by Daughters Suzie and Rebecca. Betty is survived by her Husband, John; Daughter Diana; Grandchildren Christina and Jake; Son John and his Wife Joy; Grandchildren John and Caitlin; Son Chuck and his Wife Bridget; Granddaughters Ashlie, Tiffany and Amber; and Brother Tom Wicker. On her journey through life, she touched the hearts of many with her humor, strength and spirit. She made life-long friends and was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block west of South Holly Street), Centennial, CO 80122.
