Betty Mae VonFeldt

Betty Mae Wood VonFeldt passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents, Katheryn and Raymond Goetz; husband Vincent Wood; infant son, Douglas Wood, and sisters Rosesanne Stapleton and Donna (Tuni) Dawson. Survivors include husband, Francis VonFeldt; children James Wood, Marianne (Kevin) Roberts; Julie (Rob) Dougherty; and David Wood. Step-children Glenn (Rose Ann) VonFeldt; Rick (Tonya) VonFeldt; and Tim (Tamra) VonFeldt. Grandchildren Kim Wood, Vince (April) Wood, Evelyn Dougherty, Trey Dougherty, Matthew Roberts, Christopher VonFeldt (deceased), Christal (Scott) Geertgens, Corey (Bre) VonFeldt, Adam (Natalie) VonFeldt, Tammy (Rick) Adams, Jaime Kerbs, Josh (Kasey) VonFeldt, Adrianna (Stephen) King, and Matthew VonFeldt. Great Grandchildren Kelsey Gomez, Aaron Gomez, Jason Gomez, Amelia Wood, Carrie Geertgens, Grant Geertgens, Alec Medley, Ethan VonFeldt, Carson VonFeldt, Chase Adams, Alicia Cowan, Isaiah Kerbs and Jackson King. Visitation will be held from 4:00p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27th at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 9998 Grant Street, in Thornton. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 28th with a luncheon to follow. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the many healthcare professionals that provided home care to Betty. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
