A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 830 Elm Street, on Monday, 1/14, at 10 AM. Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband Alfred Triefus Jr. and her son Jerry Triefus. She is survived by her son John Triefus (Elizabeth Bryans); her two daughters Jill Williams (Gary Williams) and Lynn Triefus (Fred de Seriere); and grandchildren Taylor Williams, Ally Williams, Sam de Seriere, Nikki de Seriere, and Sophie Banta.

Beverly W. Triefus passed away on January 8, 2019, she was 85. Beverly was born in Sedalia, Missouri to Flossie and John Warren on August 14, 1933. After graduating from Notre Dame de Sion in Kansas City, she traveled west to Denver to live with her aunt Emmy and uncle Herb Lee. Beverly worked at the May Company where she met her husband Alfred Triefus Jr. She was smitten by Alfred and they were married 3 months later, June 26, 1955. Together they started a home and raised 4 children...Jerry, John, Lynn, and Jill.

For 55 plus years, the first Wednesday of the month was Beverly's favorite day. She and eight of her best friends met to play bridge. She also spent time with friends and family at the Town Club Social Club.

She worked in retail at the May and later in life was their first ""Personal Shopper"". As empty nesters Alfred and Beverly lived in Writers Square, where Beverly owned and operated Beverly's Fine Candies. After losing Alfred in 1993 Beverly traveled far and wide with friends and family and began her golden years as a snow bird, splitting her time between Denver and Palm Springs.

Beverly loved spoiling her children and grandchildren with incredible trips abroad, spring break vacations, and Easters in Palm Springs.

Beverly sadly had to battle four different cancers in the last 15 years of her life. She fought back and won each time with dignity and courage. Beverly is now at peace and home with God.
