William Halley Morrison, 62, of S. Lewiston Way, Aurora, Colorado, passed away Dec 2, 2009, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born Aug 5, 1947, at MHM Hospital in Hanover, NH, to William H. and Ruth (Flanders) Morrison, residents of Topsham, Vermont. He graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre, VT, in 1975, and entered the U.S. Army where he served as a 35H Calibration Specialist fifteen years and five months, and as a 23W Nike Hercules Maintenance Chief nine years and five months. He served in Korea, Okinawa, Germany, and in the U.S. in Maryland, Alabama, Texas, and Colorado. After retiring from the Army in 1988, he worked as a Laboratory Supervisor at Raytheon nine years, followed by twelve years teaching at Excelsior. He was also an antique dealer for ten years. He is survived by his wife of thirty and one-half years, Elizabeth Saya Morrison; daughters, Teresa Simpson, Leslie Condon, Mary Morrison, Elizabeth Simonds, Ruth Morrison, Lany Morrison, and McKenzie Morrison, and one son Joseph Condon, six grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by his mother Ruth Morrison; sisters, Martha Wood, Margaret Bruce, Mary Morrison, and brother R. Edwin Morrison.
