Billie G. Meek

Billie G. Meek, 89, of Highlands Ranch, passed away on September 2, 2018 at Littleton Adventist Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born January 6, 1929 in Duncan, Oklahoma she was the daughter of Fred & Irene (Hammond) Giltner. Billie married Delbert on February 13, 1954 and together they shared 57 years of marriage. Delbert passed away in 2011. Billie worked as a school secretary and was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family & many friends, cooking and entertaining, gardening & traveling.

She is survived by her children, Carol Boroughs and her husband, “H.R.”, Connie Stradtman and her fiancé Brian Bartlett, and Dave Meek and his wife Sandy. Grandchildren; Ryan Barlock and his wife Tisi, Jenny Dierson and her husband Mike, Jackie Barlock, Tyler Boroughs and Megan Boroughs.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Irene Giltner, father & mother in law, Arthur & Odie Meek, two sisters, Nell Franklin & Doranne Walton.

A short service and interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 1:30 PM, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80236. Reception to follow for family & friends at Billie's home.
