SHORT, B.J. age 82 of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on Saturday April 17th, 2021. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on November 7th, 1938. B.J. attended elementary through high school in Plainfield, and in 1958, received her AA degree from Centenary College in Hackettstown, N.J. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for Bell Telephone Laboratories in NJ. In 1976, B.J. made Colorado her home. She was a homemaker, active in PTO, and worked with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Later, she went to work with the Department of Defense at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center, Aurora, CO. As she became more active in her church, she served as Deacon and Elder and was Clerk of Sessions in her church in Thornton, Colorado.
B.J. is survived by her husband Earl "Ray" Short, brother Brian, 4 children, 2 nephews, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service to be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00am at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
