Blake W. Stitzer

Blake W. Stitzer, 58, Denver, Colorado, passed away April 27, 2011 in Centennial, Colorado. Blake was born April 20, 1953 in Falls City, Nebraska, the son of Barbara (Spurgin) Stitzer and Wilbur Stitzer. Blake graduated from Falls City High School in 1971. Following graduation, he went to college in Maryville, MO. He later worked for Burlington Northern, Edcon and LCT. Since 1995 he worked for Austin Exploration Inc., working on oil and gas exploration ships and then as Manager of Operations in Houston, TX. Blake married Zoe Edmondson on September 16, 1987 in Conifer, CO. They have two daughters, Shaina Stitzer and Kylie Stitzer. He is survived by his wife, Zoe Stitzer; daughters, Shaina Stitzer and Kylie Stitzer of Denver, CO; mother, Barbara Stitzer of Falls City, NE; brother Mark (Roxann) Stitzer of Salem, NE; nieces, Brooke (Brian) Adam of Lincoln, NE, and Darby Edmondson; and nephew, Wyatt Edmondson of Batavia, IL. Memorial Service, Saturday, April 30, 3:00pm, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard.
