Bobby Wayne Richmond

December 13, 1935 — December 6, 2010

Bob W Richmond passed away at his home on December 6, 2010 after a long illness. Bob was born in Covington, Kentucky on December 13, 1935. Bob served in the U.S. Navy as a young man and prided himself in his service to his country. He was employed by Garrett Freight Lines (A&R) for 15 plus years before his retirement. Bob was passionate about motorcycles and belonged to several motorcycle clubs. He traveled many thousands of miles in the U.S.A, Canada and Mexico on club rides as well as solo rides and rides with his friends. He made many friends in the motorcycling community and missed this portion of his life as illness began to rule his final years. On December 10th he was able to take his own ""FAREWELL RIDE"" to Ft. Logan National Cemetery for burial, as depicted in the 4 attached pictures. Attached are 4 pictures that depict that journey: 1. The very luxurious mode of transportation. 2. His remains were placed in a blue granite urn engraved with his information and the U.S. NAVY seal. The urn was brought out by a rider dressed in black leathers and placed in special mounts in the hearse. 3. The ride was approximately 4 miles down Wadsworth Blvd. to Hampton Ave. 4. Arriving at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery for interment.
