Bobby 'Bob' Ray Shutt, 76, of Parker, CO died September 8th; Bob was surrounded by his family. The funeral will be held at Horan & McConaty in Aurora, CO on September 19th, 10 A.M. with visitation held September 18th from 6-8 P.M. and the morning prior to the service. Born April 15, 1929, in Matoka, WV, he was the son of Leates & Marie (Shrewsbury) Shutt. Resident of Bishop, VA through High School. After High School he worked in the WV coal mines, and in the shipyards in Norfolk, VA. He married Corrine Corzine in 1954 in Albuquerque NM; his bride of 50 years. Bob enlisted into the Air Force December 1950 then later retired in 1970 as a 20 year veteran in the USAF as a M/Sgt. as a Nuclear Weapons Instructor. During his service Bob was presented an award for the suggestion and development of a weapons loading training device. He was a crew member on the B-36, B-29, B-50 & B-45 as a Bombardier for test drops of Special Weapons. Bob was later appointed as Special Weapons Instructor. While in the USAF, he also served 3 yrs. as the Mayor of USAF Village at Finchingfield, Essex, England. Bob was also stationed in Alaska where he founded the Top-O-The-World 4-Wheelers club. He moved his family to Parker in 1972. He was an employee of the City of Greenwood Village for 21 years as a Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed his retirement years by hunting, camping, fishing, gardening and having coffee with his friends. He especially enjoyed many years with his horses, animals & family at his home in Parker, CO. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Corrine Shutt, son Robert, his wife Lisa Shutt; daughters Linda, her husband James Sherrill; Brenda Ryberg; Cynthia Shutt; 8 wonderful grandchildren; brother Reginald, his wife Mary Sue Shutt. Bob lived a wonderful fulfilling life and we'll miss him
