Bonnie Belle Dodd

 

On Tuesday, December 24th, 2019, Bonnie Dodd, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at the age of 91.

Bonnie was born on December 9th, 1928 in Webster City, Iowa to Kenneth and Hazel (Hunt) Coons. On October 21st, 1946, she married Donald Dodd. They raised four daughters, Jacquelyn, Vicki, Becky and Cheri.

Besides being a dedicated wife and mother, Bonnie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Bonnie had a passion for sewing especially quilting. Her eye for color and her sense of design was used to create countless beautiful pieces of art that are cherished every day. Bonnie was known for her quick mind, her love of family and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her father, Kenneth, her mother, Hazel, her brother, Clifford, her granddaughter, Skye and her granddaughter, Jodi. She is survived by her four children Jacquelyn (Jonathan Kriegel), Vicki, Becky and Cheri (Patrick Fleming), her sister, Helen, her sister, Phyllis (Terry Grice-deceased) and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Bonnie is also survived by her grandchildren, Carri (Chris Clemens), Tad, Heather (Joseph O'Malley), Alison (Sameer Nath), Jami, Kara (Rob Baretich) and Kelsy (Logan Richardson) and her great-grandchildren Ben, Sarah, Talon, Maren, Micah, Jack, Max, Zoe, Tricity, Ariana, Madeline and Shane.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, 11am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado.
