Bonnie P. Monson

October 18, 1932 — February 12, 2015

Beloved wife of David R. for 60 years; inspirational mom to Debbie (Richard) Bobbin, David Palmer (Brian); Jennifer (Robert) Davenport, and Andy; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Born and raised in South Dakota, married in Minneapolis, moved to Denver in 1958. A stay-at-home mom for 15 years, she raised her children and went on to become one of Denver's most successful and well recognized realtors. As the primary broker for Genesee Real Estate Company, she was instrumental in establishing the Genesee community. Finishing her career with a partnership with daughter Jennifer, she influenced the home choices and careers of dozens of people. Bonnie's ready smile always brightened any room and became one of her trademarks. She battled Alzheimers for many years before finding God's Peace. Memorial service on Monday, February 23rd at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1750 Colorado Blvd., Denver, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimers' Association in Bonnie's memory.
