Bonnie (Grandma Bonnie) was an amazing woman, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend throughout her entire life. She married Gene in Omaha, Nebraska in 1950 and they moved to Denver, Colorado shortly after to start their lives together.

As a nurse and devoted wife she took care of Gene the last twenty years of their marriage until his passing in 1998. Her spirituality played a major role in her life and she always celebrated that faithfully with Gene and all of her many friends.

Throughout her thirteen year struggle with Alzheimer’s, she always dealt with everything she faced with a huge smile, incredible dignity, grace, and amazing patience. Although she was unable to remain in her home the last six years and eight months, throughout her journey she never forgot who she was—Bonnie and Grandma Bonnie.

She will be forever missed by everyone who knew her—family, friends and those who cared for her during the last years of her life.

A visitation and viewing will be held on Sunday (Her favorite day of the week) November 13th, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 Noon.

A private burial will take place next to her Husband, Gene at Fort Logan Cemetery.

Together, her family will celebrate her life at a later time.
