Born in Instanbul, Turkey on December 27, 1912. At the age of 10, he was orphaned and raised by his aunt. At the age of 14 he began his career as an Apprentice Chef. After his apprenticeship, he was united in marriage to Stefana Chalmoff to which two children were born Vasil and Argir. He began his career serving various ambassadors later opening his own restaurant to which his cliental were numerous Turkish and world dignitaries. Boris came to the United States in 1973 where he continued his career as a private chef for several years prior to his retirement. While living in Denver, Boris and Stefana lived with their son and daughter in law, Vasil and Barbara. Boris was preceded in death by his wife, Stefana in 2007. He is survived by his children, Vasil(Barbara) and Argir Vasileff and a grandson, Andrea Vasileff. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-6 PM with a Trisagion at 6 PM and funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM all at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5555 S. Yosemite Street. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Catherine Beautification Fund, the American Heart Assoc., 12800 S.
