Centennial

Bradley Jon Novak, 57, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on March 28, 2021 after a valiant battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer.

Brad was born on November 26, 1963 to Richard and Elizabeth Novak in Davenport, IA. After graduating from Davenport Central High School in 1982, he went on to enlist in the United States Air Force. He held duty stations at Ramstein Air Force Base in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany, Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, and Travis Air Force Base in Sacramento, California.

In August of 1990 he had his first daughter Alexis Brittany Novak.

In 1992, he met Kathy (Zeren) Novak, and they wed on October 14, 1995, going on to have two more children, Tanner Vonne Novak, and Trent Richard Novak.

After working many years designing and finishing basements and home landscapes, Brad took a leap of courage and faith and changed careers to become a General Contractor. He began building custom homes with his business Novak Construction, LLC in 2008.  Brad spent his free time camping, working out, laughing, partying, and completing home projects.  He spent as much time with his friends, family and work as possible.

Brad is survived by his wife, Kathy Novak; mother, Elizabeth Novak; father, Richard Novak; his sister’s and brother’s, Laura Novak, Sue Joynt, Mary Sims, Nancy Kessler, Patty Novak, Tom Novak, Steve Novak, and Greg Novak; his three children, Alexis Novak, Trent Novak, and Tanner Novak; and his dog Koda Novak.

A ‘Celebration of Life’ gathering will be scheduled once his final project, his personal home he built, is completed in late May 2021.
