Brett Edward Clough Age 47, passed away March 25, 2017 doing what he loved the most, snowmobiling in the Colorado Mountains. He was born July 13, 1969 in San Diego, CA to David and Vonnie Clough. He was raised in Lakewood, CO and graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1987. Brett attended Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO and a spent a brief time at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. Brett was proud of his family legacy in the Local 7 Stagehand Union in Denver. He worked many rock and roll concerts and shows at McNichol's Arena, Mile High Stadium and Red Rocks and his favorite concert was Clint Black and Wynona Judd. Brett met Andrea Kleven the summer of 1993 and married on June 3, 1995. Together they took on many business adventures running their own companies: ABC Hauling and Removal in Colorado Springs, CO, Oakwood Residential Building Company in Durango, CO and started a brokerage of Carpet Direct in Durango, CO. In between his business ventures he worked for the Kleven family business, Oakwood Construction Company, where he was a strong advocate for the Pueblo Home Builders Association. Brett served on the board of directors, served as president in 2004 and volunteered countless hours to the Parade of Homes and several other HBA activities. His advocacy extended to the Southern Colorado Home Builders in Durango, CO where he also served as an active board member and served as a Board Trustee for the town of Bayfield, CO. Brett settled in with his new extended family of Carpet Direct and formed and led RMK Companies in Pueblo, CO until his death. Brett dedicated himself to his family and friends. The greatest joy of his life were his children, Colton and Ryanne. Brett never ran out of love to share and lived his life to the fullest. He had many life time adventures from sky diving, rafting, bungee jumping, snowmobiling, boating and anything exhilarating, fast and outdoors. He was the life of any party and always led with his heart. His most memorable saying was ""I Love Ya Man"" but we will remember his robust laugh and his heart of gold. Brett is survived by the love of his life, his wife Andrea Clough of Pueblo West, CO; his son Colton Clough, daughter Ryanne Clough both of Pueblo West, CO. His parents David and Vonnie Clough of Lakewood, CO; brother Gerritt Clough (Katherine Kallenbach) of Pueblo West, CO; brother Darrin (Rebecca) Clough of Parker, CO and sister Brenna Clough of Wheat Ridge, CO; father in-law Al Kleven and brother in-law Mark (Anglea) Kleven both of Pueblo, CO. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 4th at Christ on the Mountain Parish, 13922 West Utah Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80228. The celebration of Brett's life will continue on Wednesday, April 5th at 6:00pm at CaT's Pourhouse, 147 Tiffany Drive, Pueblo West, CO 81007.
