Brian Keith Dascher, beloved father, husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away at home on February 26, 2025. He was 62 years old.
He was born on November 29, 1962, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Dale Dascher and Connie Dascher-Jones. Brian graduated from Columbine High School, in Littleton, Colorado, and went on to have a nearly 37-year engineering career at Lockheed Martin. His sharp mind and innovative approach made him an invaluable asset, streamlining processes and strengthening his team while producing critical components for our nation’s space exploration and defense systems.
Fondly called “Dash” by his wife, Brian’s intelligence and signature humor underlined everything he did, including a few choice after-work softball and basketball league names over the years. He was constantly making his wife and children laugh, whether with his quick wit or many quirks that endeared him deeply to all those lucky enough to know him. He was an unfailingly dedicated family man, spending years coaching his son Dakota’s youth football team, and both filming and tearing up at the end of all of his children’s cross-country races and school events. A certified jock and geek at once, he was known for his near-encyclopedic knowledge and abiding love of music, his passion for toys and tech, and above all, his unwavering and all-encompassing love of his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Michelle “Mikki” Dascher (née Benson); his adoring children, daughter Brianna “Bri” Dascher and son Dakota Dascher; his soon-to-be son-in-law, Adam Deutsch; his parents; his sister, Cheryl Fazekas (Steve); his brother, Allen Dascher; his nephews, Brunson Fazekas, Derek Fazekas, Sean Dascher, Justin Dascher, and Camden Hocker; his mother-in-law, Audrey Benson; and his sister-in-law, Kristin Hocker (née Benson) (Jeff). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle and Doris Dascher and Ray and Alma Brunson; his sister-in-law, Shirley Dascher; and his father-in-law, Lance Benson.
A memorial service will be held at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10 AM, followed by a reception at the Dascher home.
