Brian Alexander Jones

Brian Alexander Jones, “Jonesy", passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 10, 2023, at the age of 41.

Brian was born April 4, 1982, in Boulder, Colorado, grew up in Westminster, and graduated from Northglenn High School.  He graduated from Denver University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, in Marketing.  He moved to Breckenridge where he co-founded and owned the popular restaurant Northside Pizza together with his friend John Pallaoro.  Their establishment quickly became a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. 

Being an accomplished skier, he delighted in teaching his daughters to ski. Brian loved to ski, hike, camp and bike with family and friends, along with participating enthusiastically in local sports leagues.

Brian’s joyful, kind spirit, generosity, contagious smile and laughter touched everyone who knew him.  He and Northside were strong supporters of the schools, local sporting events and teams, the Summit County Search & Rescue Group, the charity Walk with Me, and any charitable fundraisers in his community.

He is survived by his loving wife of twelve years, Tiffany Weis Jones, his two daughters and the joys of his life, Nevaeh and Somers, his mother and father, John A. and Beverly Day Jones, his brother and best friend, John Jones, Jr, (Shaina).  Brian loved his nieces, Keziah, Adalee, Selah, and nephews Malachi and Asher Jones.  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, John B. Woodard and Deborah Johnson, David W. Jones and Elizabeth Ehmann, and Tiffany’s parents, Ann Weis Withers and David Weis.   He is preceded in death by a beloved child he and his wife Tiffany never had the opportunity to know, and his grandparents, John B. Woodard, Roberta W. Woodard DiMatteo, Robert J. Jones, and Elizabeth W. Jones.  Brian is forever cherished in our hearts, and we treasure the time God blessed us with him, his joy, love and courage.

A celebration of life in honor of Brian will take place on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Frisco Day Lodge, 621 Recreation Way, Frisco, Colorado.  Friends and family are invited to attend.
