Brian William Mindnich born and raised in Fair Haven New Jersey, died at home in Denver Colorado at the age of 67 on November 21, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Brian graduated from Rumson Fair Haven High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Roanoke College in Virginia. After college he began working in the printing industry in New Jersey. In the 1980’s he moved to Colorado and continued in the printing industry until his retirement. After retiring, he worked at Skyline Display and Design and later as a starter at the Aurora Colorado municipal golf courses.
Brian was the definition of a naturally gifted athlete, excelling in all sporting endeavors. Growing up he was a star player on his high school football team. As an adult he was an avid skier, golfer, and cyclist, maintaining an extremely healthy lifestyle. He loved his many ski trips with family and friends, especially to Aspen. He enjoyed golf and beach vacations and looked forward to spending time at the Jersey shore.
Brian was a skilled handyman. He liked building things with his hands and was always willing to use his talents to help others.
Brian was one of nine siblings with whom he had a close and loving relationship. He was an uncle to twenty-five nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored. Brian was a humble man with a quick wit and dry sense of humor. Brian was deeply loved by those who knew him and will always remain in our hearts and minds.
Brian was predeceased by his father and mother, Jerome, and Carolyn (Young) Mindnich. Brian is survived by his siblings, Jerry, Bobby (Lesa), Tracy (Jim) Hay, Kim (Sarah), Carolyn (Bill) Shine, David (Michelle), Beth (Paul) Campanella, and Heidi (Denis) Newcomer.
Funeral services will take place at the Church of the Risen Christ in Denver CO on December 9th at 12:30. There will be a Celebration of Life the summer of 2024 in New Jersey.
