Brian J. Nowfel

Brian, age 63, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2011. Brian was born on November 18, 1947 in Michigan City, Indiana to Joseph and Margaret Nowfel. He was a 1965 graduate of Elston Senior High School. Brian was an All Star tennis player, which earned him a full tennis scholarship to Ball State University. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He provided financial advice and services in the Denver area for over 25 years. Brian impacted the lives of all he met with his ability to make people laugh and his loving heart. He will be greatly missed. Brian is survived by his wife Paula; daughters Sarah Nowfel and Michelle (Brad) Hutchins; sister Pat Havener; and brother Dennis (Norma) Nowfel. Visitation to be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass to be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9905 Foothills Canyon Boulevard, in Littleton, Colorado followed by a reception. A Graveside Service will follow at Littleton Cemetery, 6155 South Prince Street, in Littleton, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brian's name to the Denver Dumb Friends League, 2080 South Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado 80231; or to Ball State University Men's Tennis Program, BSU Foundation, PO Box 672, Muncie, Indiana 47308, checks may be made payable to BSU Foundation; or to a charity of your choice.
