Bryan Michael Frost

Bryan Michael Frost joined our Father in Heaven May 9, 2014. Known by all as Augie, was born in Denver, CO, December 9, 1981 and spent early years growing up in Arvada, CO as cradle member of the United Methodist Church. He moved to Flower Mound, TX finishing high school at Marcus High where he was captain of the football team. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 and immediately worked as a reporter for the Oklahoman, where his curiosity was met by writing about many life encounters. The one word that best describes Augie is an adventurer. He loved the outdoors you could not keep this tow headed, shirtless, deeply tanned boy indoors. He loved downhill skiing, and mountain climbing. Conquering the 14'ers of Colorado was his passion. He moved back to Colorado in 2009. The love of his life was his wife Ginger (Bright) where together they enjoyed music, traveling and the company of their many, many friends. The happiest day of his life was the day he and Ginger were married. He loved OU football and on Saturdays in the fall proudly hung his OU Flag while also honoring Ginger's alma mater-Texas A&M. He loved BBQ'ing with friends; he had a soft heart for people in need, he loved their dog Gracie, and the Bright family. He is survived by his wife Ginger of Englewood, CO; his mother and father, Belinda and Gary Frost, Norman, OK; his brother Jake Frost of Dallas, TX; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn of OKC; as well aunts and cousins across the country. His family and friends grieve; but find comfort in knowing that he was met in heaven by the loving arms of Jesus Christ and Augie's black lab Abby. Services will be held Thursday, May 15th, 2:00pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80246. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in the honor of Augie Frost to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
