Bryan Richard ""Rick"" O'Connell

Bryan Richard “Rick” O’Connell, of Broomfield, Colorado, passed away on December 3, 2018 at the age of 62. Rick was born in Denver, Colorado, to parents Elizabeth Moritz and Emery L. O’Connell on May 5, 1956. Rick graduated with honors from the University of Purdue, Indiana, in 1978, where he earned a BSEE, Computer Science Engineering, and was included on the Dean’s List. He was inducted in Eta Kappa Nu, the international engineering honor society of IEEE.

While working overseas, Rick met his wife of 25 years, Rosemarie, a native from Ireland. A devoted father and husband, he is survived by his loving wife, Rosemarie; only child and daughter, Bryanna; brother, William; sister, Kristine George; uncle, Jack Moritz; and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at 2:00 p.m. on December 15, 2018, at Discovery Christian Church, 2605 W 144th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023.
