Byron Douglas Cook

Byron Douglas Cook, 81, passed away December 25, 2024 at Collier Hospice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Judy, their daughter Heather Mackell (Gregg), their son Lance Cook (Lisa) and two grandchildren, Lauren Mackell and Connor Mackell  . He is also survived by his brother Warren Cook (Susan) of Annapolis MD, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

He was a graduate of Wheat Ridge HS and Colorado State University. He then served in the United States Air Force as a cartographic officer followed by a 32 year career with Conoco, Inc. He and his family made life long friends while serving in the Air Force and working for Conoco. 

He loved his family, his friends and his country.
