Callie Rose Long

It is with great sadness that we say good bye to Callie Rose Long, 27. Callie spent the majority of her short life in Aspen, Colorado before graduating from Suffield Academy in Connecticut. She was attending the University of Colorado where she would have completed her degree in International Business this week. Callie was working towards her dream of a career in the international fashion industry. She had a flair for fashion and design which she inherited from her mother, Jackie Long. When not in Colorado, Callie loved spending time with her grandparents, Edward and Doris Long in Ohio. She was a passionate lover of animals and will be missed by her little dog and constant companion King. Callie will be deeply missed by her mother Jackie Long, Boulder, grandmother, Doris Long, Ft Lauderdale, Aunt Cindy Long, Ft. Lauderdale, cousin, JR Hopwood, Denver, and numerous friends she gathered along the way. She was welcomed into Heaven by her loving and adoring grandfather, Edward Long. Callie's beautiful smile and contagious love of helping others will remain in our hearts forever. A gathering to celebrate Callie's life will be held in Aspen, Colorado on December 29, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, 10 Little Woody Creek Rd., Woody Creek, Colorado, 81656 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.CalliesBackyard.org, her organization for at-risk youth and victims.
